Adelaide – Acting for Life: Festival Die In

February 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Kick start your Fringe evening with a powerful statement about the climate crisis. Join us for the most disruptive and affecting show of the festival season.

This summer, bushfires have killed more than 1,000,000,000 animals. Between 2030 – 2050, the climate emergency will cause at least 250,000 human deaths per year. To bear witness to this tragedy, we will stage a funeral procession followed by a die-in at the intersection of Rundle Street and East Terrace right in centre of the Adelaide Fringe.

Meet on the North-Western Corner of Frome Road and North Terrace Intersection at 6pm for a briefing. The procession will leave at 6:30pm

At the die-in, we will lie on the ground under white shrouds. Our show will make it clear to thousands of festival goers that our government must act on behalf of life by taking immediate action on the climate emergency.

This action promises to be the most participatory theatrical event of the festival season. It involves maximum exposure and no risk of arrest.
