Affinity Groups are non-hierarchical trust groups which make perfect organising units for non-violent civil disobedience. They have been used throughout history in nonviolent social change campaigns.

This online workshop, presented by Tim Neville and Jane Coker of the XR Vic Talks and Training team is dynamic, interactive and empowering. You will learn about the culture, strategy and make-up of affinity groups and make plans for creating or belonging to one.

To get the best out of this workshop it is a good idea to have attended Nonviolent Direct Action Training (also known as Conscientious Protector and Civil Disobedience Training) as well as a heading for Extinction Talk and an XR DNA/Induction workshop.
